Tower Insurance Services has a proud 40-year history as an Insurance Master General Agency and third-party administrator with extensive experience in the Federal and Postal marketplace. Over the decades, we have honed our ability to educate and customize affordable insurance products to meet the unique needs of our clients.

Founded in 1984 by Dave Anderson and John Barrett, Tower stands as a testament to innovation, dedication, and a deep understanding of market dynamics. Dave brought two decades of invaluable experience in selling supplemental insurance primarily to railroad and government employees, while John was a specialist in information technology and business administration. Their complementary skills and shared commitment to excellence set the stage for a venture that would transform the supplemental insurance sales industry.

Early on, Dave and John identified a significant challenge: the low persistency rate associated with payments made through direct billing. They recognized the need for a new solution and set out to revolutionize the collection process. By reimagining the payment method, they knew they could turn around the persistency rate.  Together, they developed a groundbreaking process: single-slot premium billing for clients purchasing insurance from multiple carriers. This innovative approach not only addressed the persistency issue but also overcame the limitations of deduction slots. This laid the foundation for a business model that has stood the test of time.

In April 2022, Tower Insurance Services underwent an ownership transition, becoming part of S2 Financial, LLC. S2 Financial is a specialty holding company that owns and operates several insurance distribution and administration entities specializing in supplemental insurance. This transition has further strengthened Tower’s ability to innovate and provide exceptional service to our clients.

Our leadership’s unwavering commitment to client satisfaction has allowed Tower to not only weather industry fluctuations but also to thrive. Our commitment to innovation and customer-centric solutions, such as an e-app platform for individual carriers, has ensured our relevance in an ever-changing marketplace.
